"While I might be a trained guide, the wilderness of you life belongs to you. My goal is help you find ways to live in it well."

Ministry Experience

As part of a church staff, Kelly has worked with youth, community development & outreach projects, small group leader training, and young adult ministry (his favorite). As a volunteer, he has ministered in the inner city, counseled premarital couples, and led small groups (his other favorite). During his time in ministry he saw how people change through caring, intentional relationships, which part of what influenced him to become a counselor.

Counseling Experience

As a counselor, Kelly has worked with college students, couples, men facing a variety of issues, the homeless, addicts, and people dealing with severe depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress. He learned that counseling works best as a collaboration between the client and the counselor. His goal is to give you the space you need to be honest so you can confront what is holding you back and begin to discover a new way forward.

Kelly's counseling focus is working with men facing issues such as stress, anger, depression, sex addiction, life transitions, parenting, and relational issues. He also sees couples and young adults facing many of the same issues.
