Lauri borgmeyer, lmhc

Lauri completed her Bachelor of Science degree from Warner Pacific College and her Masters of Arts in Counseling from Western Seminary. In 1998, she began her counseling career in community mental health with children and teens and has spent most of her career working in a non-profit Christian counseling center working with children, teens, parents and women. Lauri has been a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LH 5630) in WA since 2001. She seeks to provide a safe place for individuals to explore, grow, and find healing while integrating Biblical truths and principles with therapeutic techniques.

Ministry Experience:

Lauri has served in many capacities over the past 30 years in church ministry and in a private school setting. The past five years, she served as a teacher's assistant in a 4/5th grade classroom, as well as tutored middle school students. Her church ministry background includes children's, women's and music. Lauri enjoys offering compassion as she comes alongside others in their journey of growth and healing.


Counseling Experience:

Lauri began her professional counseling career in 1998 and has extensive experience working with children, teens, families, groups and women for a variety of mental health concerns, including: depression, stress & anxiety, co-dependency, identity development, abuse recover, anger issues, communication, relational and social issues, grief & loss, ADHD, parenting problems & skill building, and adjustments to life changes and transitions.

She has worked in community mental health, school settings, and at a non-profit Christian counseling center. Lauri is passionate about helping individuals find hope & healing, enabling them to live an abundant life. She is committed to offering compassion and understanding, and strives to integrate Biblical truth and principles with therapy techniques. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in WA (LH 5630), as well as an Approved Supervisor in WA.
