Counseling Approach
If you're looking for an empathetic and accepting space to work from the pain and challenges you're currently experiencing towards the health and wholeness that you're seeking, I would be honored to help.  Here, you can expect an open, compassionate space to engage in your mental health care.  I work with children, teens, families, couples, and individuals.  When I work with kids, I utilize play therapy to create space for them to work through the issues that may be causing challenges at home or at school.  I also pair my play therapy work with sessions for you, their caregiver, to equip and empower you to best support your child.

My therapeutic approach is primarily relational, compassion-driven, and person-centered. I ground my work in attachment theory, hold a systemic orientation, and draw from Satir's Model of Therapy. I specialize in Child-Centered Play Therapy for clients aged 3 to 10 years old who are experiencing social, emotional, behavioral, and relational challenges.  I also am trained in experiential therapy models for all ages, including sandtray and art.

Whatever is going on in your life, your child's life, your family, or your marriage that brought you here today, I know that there is hope for health and growth. It would be a privilege to walk with you on the journey to finding the wholeness that you're looking for. Please reach out to see if we are a good fit to meet your mental health goals.

Ministry Experience

I have served professionally in ministry and non-profit organizations. Primarily, I was a campus minister with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship at Lewis & Clark, Portland State, and Willamette University over the course of seven years. Discipleship, leadership development, manuscript study, prayer, and cross-cultural ministry were components of my work with college students.  Previously, I facilitated training and network development in the fight against human trafficking nationally.
